Federal Grant Chaos

Events are unfolding rapidly and we’re receiving conflicting information from federal agencies. The two best resources we’ve found are:

Both sites are updated regularly and contain the most reliable information we’ve seen.

Despite a federal court suspending the freeze on spending and OMB later rescinding the memo (or maybe some of the memo? it’s all very confusing), it appears that much of the federal grant-making apparatus is at a standstill. Grants.gov was unexpectedly down earlier today with no notice of planned maintenance. While many grants have been removed from grants.gov, others remain, including those that we might have expected to be targeted (like HRSA’s Nursing Workforce Diversity (NWD) Program Opportunity number: HRSA-25-071, which is still posted).

We have over 75 years of combined grants experience and can safely say – none of this is normal. We’ll keep watching and we’ll do our best to keep you updated.
